Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island is seeking a clinician to provide diagnostic assessments and individual, group, and family counseling for youth aged 13–18 in a residential/clinical setting. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety, stability, and wellness using Trauma Systems Therapy (TST) within a structured program.

The role requires a Master’s degree in human services and RI licensure eligibility as a Social Worker, MFT, or Mental Health Counselor, with bilingual

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services required and licensure eligibility in RI.
• Proficiency in professional writing.
• Experience with medical record software and related IT tools.
• Spanish speaking preferred and compensated.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic assessments and individual, group, and family counseling.
• Collaborate with behavioral specialists, teachers, and other providers to coordinate services.
• Provide emergency crisis intervention/assessment as needed.
• Support direct service staff in implementing evidence-based treatments such as Trauma Systems Therapy (TST).
