Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) is seeking a Youth Support Specialist to guide and supervise adolescents in a school and residential setting. You will implement Trauma Systems Therapy (TST) and other evidence-based approaches to help youths make healthy decisions.

The role requires engaging activities, collaboration with teachers and clinicians, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment across classrooms and housing dorms.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by additional pay.
• Multilingual skills are compensated by additional pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on support to youth in school and residential settings.
• Interact with students to encourage involvement in all activities.
• Complete TST training and adhere to Trauma Systems Therapy model.

Education
