Job summary

The Ridge Behavioral Health System in Lexington, KY is seeking a Mental Health Technician for full-time or part-time roles (36 hours/week) with shifts from 7am to 7pm, and every other weekend required. The role supports treatment for psychiatric and substance use disorders under supervision.

Two-week paid orientation runs 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday. Emphasis on safety, de-escalation, and patient-centered care within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Experience may be accepted in lieu of college coursework.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group activities tailored to topic, age, and understanding.
• Ensure patients are monitored during activities.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation to maintain safety.
