Job summary

The Ridge Behavioral Health System in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking Mental Health Technicians for full-time and part-time night shifts from 7pm to 7am, with every other weekend required. New hires will attend a two-week paid hospital orientation from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, and join a supportive team dedicated to creating a safe, therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• Clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates group activities tailored to topic, age, and level of understanding.
• Ensures patients are monitored in the proper location during activities.
• Provides crisis intervention and de-escalation to diffuse escalating behaviors and ensure safety.
