River Valley Counseling Center, Inc. in Massachusetts is hiring Outpatient Clinicians to provide trauma-informed mental health assessment and therapy to individuals, families, and couples.

The Clinician will develop treatment plans, maintain documentation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive, inclusive environment. This role emphasizes culturally responsive care, crisis intervention, and community referrals, with in-office sessions required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in human services, counseling, clinical psychology or social work
• CANS certification required
• Ability to work with children, adolescents, families, and diverse populations
• Willing to work in-office with in-person sessions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and EHR
• Knowledge of HIPAA and ethics
• Strong customer service and client engagement

Responsabilités

• Conduct clinical assessments and diagnose mental health disorders; develop personalized treatment plans
• Provide ongoing therapy to individuals, families and/or couples; adjust plans as needed
• Utilize trauma-informed, strength-based approaches in client interactions
• Maintain client confidentiality and records per HIPAA and RVCC standards
• Document all clinical work accurately and maintain client records
• Develop knowledge of community services and resources for clients
• Coordinate referrals, outreach, advocacy, or case consultations as needed
• Report abuse or neglect per MA law for mandated reporters
• Participate in client care and multidisciplinary team conferences
• Facilitate family sessions when clinically indicated
• Other duties as assigned
