Job summary

River Valley Counseling Center, Inc. (RVCC) in Northampton seeks an Outpatient Clinician to provide trauma‑informed mental health assessment and treatment for individuals, families, and couples, develop and adjust treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

The clinician supports crisis intervention, coordinates referrals to community resources, ensures HIPAA compliance, and participates in team conferences.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services, counseling, clinical psychology or social work.
• Licenses: LMHC, LMFT, LCSW or LICSW in MA preferred.
• 3 years experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, crisis intervention, organization and ethics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and diagnoses; develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing therapy to individuals, families or couples; monitor progress.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; document all clinical work.
• Coordinate referrals, outreach, and community resources; participate in team conferences.
