Job summary

River Valley Counseling Center, Inc. is seeking dedicated outpatient clinicians to provide trauma-informed mental health assessments, therapy, and case coordination for individuals, families, and couples.

The role emphasizes collaborative planning, culturally responsive care, and strict confidentiality within a multidisciplinary team. The position requires a Master’s degree in human services or related field, MA licensure (LMHC/LMFT/LCSW/LICSW) preferred, and in-office sessions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in human services, counseling, clinical psychology or social work.
• LICENSURE: LMHC, LMFT, LCSW or LICSW in MA preferred.
• CANS certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and diagnose mental health disorders; develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing therapy to individuals, families, and couples; monitor progress.
• Utilize trauma-informed, strength-based communication strategies with clients and families.
• Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; proper records management.
