Job summary

StepStone Family & Youth Services is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the operation of a community-based program in Raleigh, NC. The role shares responsibility with the Executive Director for delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based services to youth and families, including management of clinical and operational components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field and at least two years of direct casework experience with children and families.
• Administrative and clinical skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to recruit, supervise, and discipline staff; delegate and support.
• Understanding needs of children and families in child welfare/juvenile justice.
• Flexible, innovative, and capable of adapting to changing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective treatment interventions for children and families.
• Evaluate programs and report recommendations to the Executive Director.
• Set standards and procedures for treatment staff.
• Support recruitment, training, supervision, and promotion of staff.
• Maintain agency programs and policies with the Executive Director.
• Represent the agency to custodial agencies, courts, and the community.
• Maintain relationships with local, state, and national agencies.
