Job summary

StepStone Family & Youth Services is seeking a compassionate Foster Care Case Manager in Georgia for a part-time role. You will provide trauma-informed case management, counseling, and service coordination with foster and biological families, schools, and community partners.

The role emphasizes collaboration with treatment teams, development of treatment plans, and ongoing progress reporting to ensure safety and permanency for youth in foster care. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, or related human services field and two years' experience working with children and families.
• Two years' experience with children and families; five years' experience with a placing agency may be considered in lieu of a graduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Deliver case management services, including individual and family counseling and supervision of foster families.
• Develop individual treatment plans for troubled children and their families.
• Maintain weekly contact with foster families, children, biology families, and treatment teams; monitor progress.
• Assist with training, home studies, and evaluation of foster parents.
• Prepare written treatment plans and progress reports.
