Qualifications

• Must model open communication, fairness, and empathy for diverse clients.
• Professional in-person, phone, email, and written communication skills in stressful situations.
• Knowledge of community resources and service options.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or obtainable.
• Microsoft Word skills required for documentation and reporting.
• Reliable transportation and a phone are essential.
• Ability to be on call for one week each month.
• Ohio driver’s license and driving insurability may be required.
• Must meet agency background check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed case management to shelter and community clients.
• Manage paperwork and billing for contractual obligations.
• Attend meetings and trainings as requested.
• Maintain organized, auditable client files and prepare for program audits.
• Be on-call one week per month and cover shifts when needed.
• Lead outreach and collaborate with community partners and agencies.
• Develop and monitor client goals and assess needs weekly.
• Facilitate resident involvement and lead group activities and meetings.
• Advocate for residents and accompany them to appointments as needed.
