Job summary

Community Partners in Action (CPA) seeks a Family Support Specialist for the REGIONS-Site Secure Residential Treatment Program for male youth in Hamden, CT. The role requires engaging families, coordinating resources, and supporting treatment participation in a secure setting.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of trauma-informed, gender-specific approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Engage youth, families, and community resources at program admission.
  • Support family participation in treatment sessions and visits.
  • Model respectful interactions and promote self-advocacy among youth and families.
  • Develop family engagement strategies to improve treatment outcomes and reduce recidivism.
  • Participate in monthly MDT meetings and team collaborations.
  • Ensure compliance with program requirements and safety protocols.
