Job summary

YAI - Seeing beyond disability is seeking a dedicated individual to supervise and care for people we support, ensuring health, safety and respectful, person-centered interactions. You will implement IBSPs/IPPs, assist with ADLs, and help maintain a safe therapeutic environment while following HIPAA and safety policies.

The role involves collaboration with the clinical team, data collection, and maintaining documentation in the electronic health record.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Tuberculosis test mandatory for most positions.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Must obtain RBT certification within one year (CA options).
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including email and Workday.
• Interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to take initiative.
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, protection and care of individuals at all times.
• Facilitate learning and training in fire safety and use of IBSP/IPPs.
• Support individuals with ADLs and personal care per plans.
• Administer medications as prescribed per guidelines.
• Coordinate with team; participate in plan development and data collection.
