Job summary

Denton County Friends of the Family seeks a Crisis Services Coordinator to provide program leadership across residential and non-residential crisis services. The role oversees staff development, coordinates cross-program delivery, and ensures survivor-centered, trauma-informed care with 24/7 on-call support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Experience coordinating programs or operations in crisis response or victim services.
• Ability to supervise staff in fast-paced or crisis environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, mentorship, and professional development to Crisis Services staff.
• Coordinate staffing and service delivery across 24/7 crisis line, admissions, walk-ins, shelter, and SAT response.
• Offer direct crisis services including line response, risk assessment, safety planning, and referrals.
• Provide advanced consultation on complex client situations and coordinate service planning.
• Promote trauma-informed, survivor-centered practices across Crisis Services.
• Maintain collaboration with community partners and ensure confidential client records.
