Job summary

Denton County MHMR Center is seeking an administrative support specialist for the Psychiatric clinic. Under the Clinic Operations Manager, you will collect and report data, support physicians, nurses, and front desk staff, and assist with scheduling and chart maintenance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, experience in clinical or mental health settings, familiarity with trauma-informed care, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in clinical and/or mental health settings preferred.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and willingness to train.
• Background check clean per Texas HHSC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect, monitor, and report data required by contracts or grants.
• Provide administrative support to clinic leadership and medical staff.
• Assist with scheduling, chart preparation, and documentation.
• Respond to emergencies per protocol and maintain trauma-informed care practices.
