Job summary

Denton County Friends of the Family is seeking a compassionate mental health professional to join our Clinical Services team, providing individual and group counseling to adult survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The role emphasizes EMDR and CPT approaches and requires ongoing Saturday availability and at least two evenings per week to meet client needs.

You will report to the Adult Clinical Services Coordinator and supervise interns and volunteers while maintaining

Qualifications

Master's degree in counseling or related field required.
Licensed as LPC/LCSW/LMFT or equivalent; full licensure preferred.
Experience with trauma-informed care and DV/SA survivors is valued.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain a service plan with each client.
Provide individual and group counseling for adult survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Ensure current information and referrals are provided to clients.
Maintain confidential client files with accurate documentation.
Collect and report statistics on provided services.
Maintain relationships with community agencies.
Attend DCFOF staff/education meetings as requested.
Provide clinical supervision of counseling interns as assigned.
