Job summary

Cornerstone's Day One Call Center seeks a Part-Time Call Center Advocate to provide trauma-informed, survivor-centered support to victims of domestic and sexual violence, human trafficking, and general crime. The Advocate responds via phone, text, email, or chat on the 24/7 Day One Crisis Line and related hotlines with limited in-person assistance in the Minneapolis area.

Hours are 3pm-11pm and 7am-3pm every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Experience in trauma-informed crisis response preferred.
• Understanding of survivor-centered care practices.
• Knowledge of resources for victims of crime and diverse communities.
• Ability to travel between Minneapolis and Bloomington offices for meetings/shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, survivor-centered support via phone, text, email, and chat.
• Assess needs and connect victims to advocacy and referrals through Day One and partner resources.
• Maintain professional relationships with referral partners and internal teams.
• Document incidents and ensure accurate data entry in Apricot/database systems.
• Support walk-in participants and participate in training/mentoring of staff as needed.
