Groundworks New Mexico provides case management and housing advocacy for survivors of domestic violence. The role helps access emergency shelter and community resources; secure and maintain safe, stable housing; and navigate legal, immigration, educational, financial, and mental health supports.

You will assess program eligibility, document client progress, and coordinate with internal teams and community partners to support each survivor’s safety, healing, self-sufficiency, and long-term

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent coursework with at least 1 year relevant experience.
• High school diploma with 3 years related experience, at least 2 in the duties described.
• Bilingual English-Spanish, written and verbal required.

Responsabilités

• Provide crisis intervention using established crisis-response methods and protocols.
• Facilitate access to housing resources and services.
• Assist housing clients in finding, securing, and maintaining permanent housing.
• Conduct housing inspections.
• Collaborate with the legal team on pro se cases (orders of protection, divorce, custody, child support).
