Qualifications

• Master's degree required in counseling, social work, sociology, or psychology.
• Must pass criminal background check and driving record checks.
• Licensure preferred but not required; driving and insurance must be valid.

Responsibilities

• Provide family, individual, and group counseling sessions.
• Develop and update counseling plans based on assessments.
• Maintain client confidentiality and document outcomes.
• Participate in agency events, coalitions, and networks.
• Serve on on-call rotation to accompany victims to police/hospitals/courts.
• Answer 24-hour Crisis Hotline and provide referrals and safe shelter.
• Train volunteers/public on family and sexual violence education.
• Supervise volunteers/interns and facilitate support groups.
