Job summary

The Salvation Army in Bell, CA seeks a part-time Mental Health Clinician (Licensed or License-Eligible) to deliver trauma-informed behavioral health services in a shelter setting. You will conduct individual and group therapy, coordinate with case managers, and support residents in recovery and stability.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, treatment planning, referrals, and clinical supervision if licensed.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible mental health clinician required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience with mental illness and/or substance abuse.
• Supervision eligibility for trainees if licensed.
• TB test and CPR/First Aid certification.
• On-site services in a shelter setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy using trauma-informed practices.
• Conduct behavioral health screenings, assessments, and risk assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with clients and case managers.
• Provide referrals for psychiatric care and other mental health services.
• Supervise MFT/MSW trainees if licensed.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation in HMIS or designated software.
