Job summary

Women In Need (Win) seeks a Clinical Director to lead trauma-informed care across its transitional housing programs in New York. The role partners with the AVP to advance standardized social work practices and provide clinical supervision for DHS-funded THRIVE NYC initiatives.

The ideal candidate holds NYS LCSW or LMHC, with 3+ years of experience supporting families facing homelessness, trauma, and mental health services. MI and TIC expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed social worker or mental health professional with clinical supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing.
• Experience supporting families facing homelessness and trauma in NYC.
• Ability to develop and implement clinical assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Clinical Supervisors to ensure high-quality clinical case management for families and individuals
• Provide individual and group counseling using trauma-informed and harm reduction approaches
• Build and maintain strong referral networks for mental health and substance use services
• Lead the implementation of evidence-based practices and support development of clinical assessment tools
• Deliver training in Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Care to strengthen staff capability
• Provide clinical oversight, site support, and strategic input on mental health initiatives across programs
