Job summary

The Child and Family Clinician at YWCA of Western MA provides therapeutic services to children and families affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and trauma, offering individual and group therapy, case management, and parent sessions. You will conduct weekly therapy sessions, complete intakes and assessments, and maintain safety planning and documentation in the client data system.

Qualifications

• Master's in Social Work or Counseling; licensure support preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred
• Experience providing therapy to adults and children who have experienced or witnessed trauma
• Experience with survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault
• Experience facilitating groups

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy, case management, and parent sessions to families impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and trauma
• Conduct 17–20 individual therapy sessions weekly, plus 1–2 groups, case management and parent sessions
• Complete intakes, assessments, and documentation; update safety plans and support plans
• Enter data into client data system within 24 hours; maintain clear, accurate records
• Collaborate with community agencies and supervise interns/volunteers; participate in staff meetings
