Job summary

Children In Crisis, Inc. seeks a licensed or licensure-preferred therapist to deliver trauma-informed mental health services to children in The Children’s Neighborhood, including foster homes and the Emergency Shelter.

The therapist will manage a caseload and collaborate with caregivers, schools, case managers, and community partners to promote healing, placement stability, and positive outcomes for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, abandonment, and other trauma.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant mental health field from an accredited institution.
• Florida licensure as LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in child welfare, trauma, or crisis intervention preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed mental health services to children in The Children’s Neighborhood.
• Manage an assigned caseload and coordinate with caregivers, schools, and case managers.
• Collaborate with community partners to promote healing, placement stability, and positive outcomes for children who have experienced trauma.
