Job summary

Ruby's Place dba Restorative Pathways (RP) in Oakland, CA seeks a full-time Case Manager for Solara House to support survivors toward safety and independence through individualized case plans and trauma-informed advocacy.

This 100% on-site role requires a Bachelor’s in social services, Spanish fluency, and at least 2 years in case management, crisis intervention, or peer counseling. Valid CA driver’s license and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field.
• Fluent in Spanish.
• At least 2 years experience in casework management, crisis intervention, peer counseling.
• Experience with unhoused populations preferred.
• Experience with human trafficking/domestic violence preferred.
• State mandated 40-hour Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking counselor certification (can be after hire).
• Must lift up to 25 lbs and have CA driver’s license with RP insurance approval.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management, including development of case plans for residents.
• Advocate for clients, provide resources, and make referrals to community service providers.
• Transport residents to appointments or coordinate transportation.
• Deliver trauma-informed, resident-centered services.
• Facilitate peer groups and activities for clients.
• Conduct orientation for new residents and screening/intake as needed.
• Maintain referral information and assist with program operations.
• Communicate with other RP programs and ensure coordinated care.
• Complete timesheets and participate in supervision sessions.
