Job summary

Ruby's Place, doing business as Restorative Pathways, is hiring a Case Manager for the ESH Program in Alameda, CA. This full-time, on-site role supports families and individuals facing housing instability through individualized case plans and coordinated services.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred) and at least 2 years of case management experience, with a valid CA driver’s license and background checks. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in case management or homeless services.
• Experience with families and housing instability.
• Knowledge of Housing First principles and local housing resources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid CA driver’s license, insurance, and RP driver approval to operate agency vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake and develop individualized case plans.
• Collaborate with participants to identify housing barriers and stability needs.
• Facilitate housing navigation, including rental applications and landlord engagement.
• Support participants with documentation (ID, income, benefits).
• Provide referrals and warm handoffs to community services.
• Monitor progress toward housing and stability goals.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field
