Job summary

Ruby's Place is seeking a Case Manager for Anchor Village in Alameda, CA. This in-person, full-time role provides direct services to adults accessing Day Center, Night Shelter and Safe Park programs, focusing on housing resources, benefits, and supportive services.

You will engage participants using trauma-informed, survivor-centered approaches, conduct assessments, develop service plans, coordinate with partners, and ensure timely documentation in HMIS. Local Bay Area travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of two years of experience providing case management or direct services to individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
• Knowledge of community resources, housing programs, and benefits systems preferred.
• Experience with HMIS or other data management systems preferred.
• Strong communication, engagement, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing crisis or complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Engage participants accessing Anchor Village to assess needs and identify service priorities.
• Conduct intake assessments and gather relevant information related to housing history, service needs, and barriers to stability.
• Build trusting relationships with participants through respectful and trauma-informed engagement.
