Job summary

HeartShare is seeking a position to oversee and support unaccompanied children in the Nuevo Camino program in New York City. The role focuses on sponsor identification for family reunification, safety assessments, collaboration with federal staff, and ensuring access to medical, dental, mental health, and educational services.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree, have at least one year of relevant experience, and are fluent in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four year college or equivalent required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Strong communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and support to unaccompanied children in the Nuevo Camino program.
• Identify and assess appropriate sponsors for family reunification.
• Evaluate safety and well-being of potential sponsors.
• Collaborate with team and Federal Field Specialist on sponsor concerns.
• Ensure children receive essential services including medical, dental, mental health, and education.
• Maintain compliance with program requirements and regulations.
