Job summary

HeartShare Human Services of New York seeks a Home Finding Coordinator to support Nuevo Camino foster care services in Brooklyn. You will manage residential records, train and assist foster families, and coordinate services to ensure safe, healthy homes for unaccompanied minors in a trauma-informed program.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), at least two years of related experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in the field.
• Driver’s license required; driving may be essential for the role.
• Experience with refugee and/or immigrant populations preferred.
• Strong organizational and detail orientation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and model organizational values.

Responsibilities

• Complete detailed, accurate written reports for each home assigned, including annual narratives and home studies.
• Maintain complete, audit-ready foster home case records.
• Serve as primary contact for foster families on your workload.
• Support foster parents by coordinating services and attending meetings as needed.
• Receive and apply required training to deliver foster parent training.
• Participate in ORR–Nuevo Camino training per mandates.

Education

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or equivalent

2 years of similar experience
