Job summary

YouthNet in Washington and Vancouver is seeking a Full-time BRS Case Manager to plan, develop, and implement services for foster youth in need of intensive behavioral support. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, documentation, service coordination, and collaboration with DCYF.You will conduct weekly in-person home visits, support families, develop treatment and safety plans, and ensure contractual obligations are met while representing YouthNet professionally.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a valid Washington State driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Ability to pass Washington State criminal check and FBI fingerprinting if required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field; OR four years of experience in foster care, mental health, or related fields.
• Two years of experience working with children and families.
• Ability to work with challenging behaviors of children in care.
• Knowledge of family systems and child development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse groups and populations.
• Ability to write objective reports and maintain documentation.
• Commitment to Youthnet mission and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Support birth, relatives, kinship, and foster families.
• Provide weekly in-person home visits to clients across Clark & bordering counties.
• Utilize a trauma-informed approach to support clients, families, and caregivers.
• Learn direct care roles for children and youth in foster care with behavioral challenges.
• Plan, develop and implement services for youth in collaboration with DCYF.
• Facilitate monthly Child, Family Team meetings to track treatment goals.
• Develop Individualized Treatment & Safety Plans.
• Meet contractual obligations related to case management.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients and families.
