Job summary

Fosterful in Southwest Washington seeks a Behavioral Case Aide to provide trauma-informed support to foster families, helping youth heal, grow, and thrive. You will work closely with Placement Support Manager and caregivers to implement care plans.

This role emphasizes safety, stability, and strong partnerships, with responsibilities across direct service, transportation, documentation, and collaboration in DCYF-aligned services.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must pass criminal and child welfare background checks.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Strong communication skills and cultural competency; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed direct support to youth in foster care, ensuring health, safety and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with foster parents to model supervision techniques and behavior management strategies.
• Coordinate transportation for youth to appointments and activities with accurate mileage documentation.
• Review CSP with Placement Support Manager and maintain accurate case records, mileage, and required documentation.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, training events, and professional development activities.
