Job summary

Everstand is seeking a Bilingual Intake Specialist for the Caminos Program in Martinsburg, WV. The role supports youth through trauma-informed intake, discharge coordination, and a safe therapeutic environment. You will mentor direct care staff and collaborate with supervisors to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of youth-focused experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to complete required certifications, background checks, screenings, and ORR-mandated training.
• Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate an agency vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate youth intake, admission, and discharge processes and required documentation.
• Welcome and orient new youth while promoting a safe and supportive environment.
• Coach and mentor direct care staff in trauma-informed and therapeutic practices.
• Support individualized safety, behavioral, and treatment interventions.
• Promote unit routines, programming, life skills, and positive youth development.
• Support youth with emotional regulation, decision-making, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with supervisors and clinical staff on youth programming and care.
• Administer medications as directed and provide safe transportation as needed.
• Maintain compliance with Everstand, ORR, safety, documentation, and training requirements.
• Support staffing coverage, meetings, on-call responsibilities, and other program needs.
