Job summary

Everstand seeks an Educational Support Specialist to assist with supervision and instructional support for youth in both residence and school settings. Working under the classroom teacher, you will help implement instructional plans and support treatment needs of students.

You will contribute to trauma-informed practices, maintain documentation, and help ensure safe, structured routines while supporting each student’s individual plans and progress.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• One year of employment experience working with youth or adolescents in a social services setting required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervision and management of students in the residence and school setting.
• Under direction of the classroom teacher, implement instructional plans and support treatment needs of students.
• Promote trauma-informed leadership and professional boundaries.
• Maintain required assessments and documentation (educational assessments, daily reports, MAR).
• Ensure schedules and routines are followed and assist with meals, recreation, and transportation as needed.
