Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Behavioral Health Tech to provide direct support and therapeutic assistance in facility-based, crisis, or residential settings. You will monitor behaviors, assist with ADLs, and promote safety and well-being while delivering care with dignity and cultural humility.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed, person-centered care, teamwork with the interdisciplinary team, and adherence to clinical plans and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in behavioral health, inpatient psychiatric care, crisis units, or residential treatment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support and Patient Care: provide direct patient care, follow plan of care, assist with ADLs while promoting autonomy.
• Therapeutic Environment and Program Support: maintain structured, safe environment; lead or co-facilitate groups and activities.
• Safety, Crisis Prevention, and Intervention: identify triggers, implement trauma-informed de-escalation, handle emergencies.
• Documentation and Communication: accurately document observations in the EHR; communicate with team; participate in hand-offs.
• Teamwork, Professionalism, and Quality: participate in quality improvements; uphold infection control; support onboarding.
