Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct support and therapeutic assistance in facility-based settings. You will follow care plans, assist with daily living activities, and help monitor and support individuals with mental health and developmental needs.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed, person-centered care, de-escalation in crises, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to promote safety and well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in behavioral health preferred, not required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in behavioral health settings, ensuring safety.
• Follow the plan of care with observation levels and supervision.
• Assist with ADLs (hygiene, meals, mobility) while promoting autonomy.
• Monitor and document behavior, mood, sleep, and program participation.
• Lead or co-facilitate skills groups and therapeutic activities.
• Respond to crises using de-escalation and grounding techniques.
• Document observations and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
