Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Behavioral Health Tech in Georgia. The role provides direct support and clinical assistance in facility-based, crisis, or residential settings.

The BHT helps maintain safety, supports stabilization, and promotes the well-being of individuals with behavioral health needs in a trauma-informed, person-centered environment. The position requires a high school diploma or GED; experience in behavioral health is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health, inpatient psychiatric care, crisis units, or residential programs is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and ensure safety and well-being of individuals.
• Follow plan of care, including observation levels, safety checks, and supervision.
• Assist with ADLs (hygiene, meals, mobility, personal care) while promoting autonomy.
• Monitor and document behavior, mood, sleep, and program participation.
• Respond to crises using de-escalation and therapeutic engagement techniques.
• Document observations and interventions in the electronic health record (EHR).
