Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician in Lenoir, NC to provide direct support and therapeutic assistance in facility-based settings. You will monitor behaviors, assist with daily living activities, and promote the emotional and physical well-being of individuals served.

Requires 18+, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. 12-hour shifts, days, some weekends; pay is $16.25 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in behavioral health preferred, not required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support in safety and well-being.
• Follow plan of care, observe, document behavior, mood and sleep.
• Assist with ADLs and promote autonomy.
• Lead or co-facilitate groups and activities as assigned.
• Respond to crises using de-escalation and trauma-informed approaches.
