Job summary

BCFS Health and Human Services is seeking an Advocate to provide trauma-informed advocacy and intensive case management for survivors. The role includes immediate crisis response, safety planning, documentation, and coordination of ongoing services in line with program and regulatory standards.

Travel is a core element (75% regionally, with overnight stays possible). After-hours coverage is required, and the role emphasizes confidentiality, collaboration with partners, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or closely related field.
• Experience with victims of human trafficking, child abuse/neglect, or youth homelessness/addiction; 2–3 years case management or crisis intervention.
• Reliable personal vehicle and ability to travel within the region, including overnight travel.
• Ability to respond to crises during after-hours, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed advocacy and case management for survivors.
• Crisis response, safety planning, documentation, and coordination of ongoing services.
• Travel approximately 75% of the time within the region, including overnight stays.
• Respond to emergencies at any time; maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Coordinate with partners and stakeholders to ensure timely services.
