Job summary

ROOTs Transition in Park City, UT seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide day-to-day supervision and trauma-informed care within a residential setting for adolescents aged 15–18.

This on-site role emphasizes safety, emotional well-being, and consistent therapeutic engagement, collaborating with clinical and residential staff to maintain a stable environment and implement treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral health and/or residential treatment.
• Undergraduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and related behavioral health practices.

• Supervise and ensure the safety of clients.
• Show compassion and understanding during challenging interactions.
• Exercise sound judgment and maintain professional boundaries.
• Support the development of executive functioning skills.
