Job summary

Sunrise Residential Treatment Center in Utah is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our trauma‑informed team working with adolescents ages 12–17 on-site.

You will provide Individual, Family and Group Therapy using evidence-based modalities such as DBT, TF-CBT, ACT, and Seeking Safety, with a focus on trauma, emotional regulation, and family systems, while collaborating with psychiatrists.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field.
• Active Utah licensure or eligibility (CSW/AMFT/ACMHC or LCSW/LMFT/LCMHC).
• 2+ years therapy experience; 1+ year in residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small caseload with emphasis on family engagement and parent coaching.
• Facilitate Individual, Family, and Group Therapy using trauma‑informed modalities.
• Create comprehensive discharge plans with youth and families for continuity of care.
• Maintain clinical documentation and adherence to Master Treatment Plan standards.
• Deliver client-centered, culturally competent therapies tailored to adolescent needs.
• Apply modalities like DBT, TF-CBT, ACT, and Seeking Safety to support progress.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and physicians for holistic treatment.
