Job summary

Houses of Hope in Lincoln, NE is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to support the Short-Term Residential program. The role involves welcoming individuals, guiding them through the admission process, and coordinating with clinical and referral sources to ensure smooth intake.

A strong emphasis on trauma-informed care and service coordination is essential. Qualifications include a 21+ age minimum, a Nebraska driver's license, and a relevant degree or equivalent experience in human services, with

Qualifications

Must have customer service and communication skills.
Experience in clinical setting record management/correspondence preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary contact for individuals entering the building and directing them to the appropriate program or staff.
Coordinate admissions process for the Short-Term Residential program, including forms and documentation in the EHR.
Verify payor and billing information and assist with referrals and scheduling.
Maintain records of communications and referrals; support waiting lists and capacity reporting.
