Job summary

Advocate Health in Maryland seeks a Nursing Assistant for the Christ Medical Center site, working 36 hours per week with a 7pm–7:30am schedule. You will assist with daily patient care, document data in EMR, and support admissions, transfers, and discharges under RN supervision.

Role requires BLS within 45 days, GED or HS diploma, and strong communication and organizational skills. Benefits and on-call opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 45 days.
• GED or high school equivalency diploma required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communications.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Document vital signs and patient data in EMR.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge processes under supervision.
• Ensure patient call lights are answered promptly and communicate patient needs to RN.
• Maintain infection prevention and proper handling of patient care items.
