Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to support ICU patients under RN supervision. You will assist with daily care tasks, monitor basic vital signs, and help with patient transfers and room setup. A strong team player with good communication is essential.

Certification in BLS and Nurse Aide registration are required. GED or HS Diploma is acceptable. The role offers 24 hours per week with two 12-hour shifts and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, hygiene, feeding, ambulation).
• Record vitals and document in EMR accurately.
• Communicate observations to RN and document appropriately.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges and room setup.
