Job summary

Advocate Health's Surgical Trauma ICU is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a 20-bed unit focused on traumatic injuries and critical care. The role requires nursing program completion, state RN license, and BLS certification, with preferred 1 year of nursing experience.

You'll work 36 hours per week across three 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am) with a weekend/holiday track, in a collaborative environment supported by trauma surgeons, residents, and the care team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where you practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled RN, provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
