First Light Child Advocacy Center in Nebraska seeks a Forensic Interviewer to join our multidisciplinary team. You will conduct trauma-informed forensic interviews with children, review referrals, and participate in pre/post interview meetings with caregivers and professionals.

Responsibilities include documenting cases, updating tracking systems, providing data for funders, testifying when needed, and upholding NCAC standards.

Qualificações

• Two years of professional experience working with children and families who have experienced or witnessed trauma.
• Experience with the criminal justice or child welfare system preferred.
• Exempt employees must be able to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies.
• Evening and weekend hours routinely required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct forensic interviews of children as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Complete case documentation and update case tracking systems.
• Participate in pre- and post-interview meetings with caregivers and team members.
• Testify as subpoenaed or requested regarding interview protocols and disclosures.
• Foster relationships with law enforcement, health and human services, and prosecutors.
