Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Sciences with an emphasis in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a multi-disciplinary environment with Child Protective Services, Law Enforcement, and Human Services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in forensic interviewing protocols with children/adolescents and vulnerable adults.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and coordinate interviews: schedule and conduct joint forensic interviews for victims/witnesses.
  • Documentation and case management: maintain case files, video logs, and statistical tracking with meticulous written records.
  • Team collaboration: participate in weekly Case Reviews and coordinate information with multidisciplinary team members.
  • Legal proceedings: participate in pre-trial interviews and provide testimony in court proceedings on interview processes.
  • Professional development: stay current on forensic interviewing research and best practices.
