Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa is hiring an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) to join our fast-paced ED. You will support CNAs under RN supervision, collect blood samples, identify patients, and transport specimens while handling clerical and patient service duties.

We look for a self-driven, team-oriented candidate with a passion for emergency care. A CNA/EMT and Basic Life Support are required; EMT/paramedic experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• CNA/EMT certification in Idaho or NREMT is required
• BLS certification for Healthcare providers required at hire unless ACLS/PALS already held
• Six months of CNA/EMT experience preferred
• Recent pediatric and/or phlebotomy experience in acute care preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at unit level by performing CNA functions under RN supervision; collect blood samples; identify patients; transport specimens
• Handle related clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination duties
