Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa, ID, is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support the ED under RN supervision. The role includes CNA-like patient care, specimen collection, and transport, plus clerical tasks in a fast-paced trauma setting.

The ideal candidate holds CNA or EMT credentials, has BLS, and brings 6 months of CNA/EMT experience; pediatric care and phlebotomy in acute care are a plus. Evening/night shifts, three nights per week, with varied scheduling.

Qualifications

• CNA in Idaho and/or EMT certification required or eligible.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required at hire unless ACLS/PALS current.
• Six months CNA/EMT experience preferred.
• Recent pediatric care and phlebotomy in acute care preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide CNA-level care under RN supervision in ED.
• Collect blood samples, identify patients, and transport specimens.
• Perform related clerical, receptionist and patient service tasks.
