Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) to join our Boise Emergency Department. The ED Tech supports clinical staff under RN supervision, collects specimens, and handles patient service coordination.

The role requires Idaho CNA/EMT/NREMT credentials, BLS certification at hire, and offers a fast-paced trauma setting with a flexible schedule. Three 12-hour day shifts allow for work-life balance in a community-focused hospital.

Qualifications

• CNA license or EMT license or NREMT certification required in Idaho.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at hire.
• Six months CNA/EMT experience preferred.
• Pediatric care or phlebotomy in acute care setting preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff by performing CNA duties under RN supervision.
• Collect blood samples and transport specimens.
• Handle related clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Provide care to all ED patients with a wide range of conditions and illnesses.
