Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Nampa is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) to join our Emergency Department. This role provides care to patients in a fast-paced trauma setting, requiring a self-driven attitude and teamwork.

Schedule: 11:00AM - 11:30PM with flexibility for weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The ED Tech will support clinical staff under RN supervision, collect blood samples, identify patients, and transport specimens, in addition to related clerical

Qualifications

• CNA in Idaho or EMT/NREMT certification required
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required at hire
• Six months of CNA/EMT experience preferred
• Experience with pediatric patients and phlebotomy preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Support CNAs under RN supervision; collect blood samples and correctly identify patients.
• Transport specimens; perform related clerical, receptionist and patient service tasks.
