Job summary

EMPACT-SPC, part of La Frontera Arizona, seeks a Trauma Healing Crisis Specialist to provide trauma-informed assessments and direct counseling to individuals and families affected by crimes. You will coordinate referrals, document care, and participate in on-call crisis response with a team of counselors.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong communication, and the ability to work with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and ADHS BHT eligibility as required.
• Proven ability to assess trauma-related needs and provide crisis intervention.
• Experience delivering services to victims of crime and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments and direct service counseling to individuals and families.
• Conduct office-based intake assessments and crisis counseling.
• Identify and coordinate referrals and reports to authorities when needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain client records per agency policies and procedures.
• Deliver on-call crisis response on a weekly rotation.
• Supervise interns and train new staff as assigned.
• Commit to at least 40 hours per week and participate in meetings.
