Job summary

Regional One Health is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Trauma Acute (Stepdown) Department. The role leads nursing staff, oversees daily operations, and drives performance improvement to enhance patient outcomes in a high-acuity unit.

Responsibilities include staffing, budgeting, policy development, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure safe, efficient care that complies with regulatory standards and hospital procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required or actively enrolled in a qualified program with graduation validation within two years of date of hire.
• Minimum 3 years progressive clinical/nursing management experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
• Current TN state licensure to work as RN; CPR/BLS and ACLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and manages unit activities to deliver quality nursing and patient care.
• Manages day-to-day operations and staffing to meet productivity and patient needs.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission standards, hospital policies and PI initiatives.
• Prepares and maintains PI plans and reports for leadership review.
